Darren’s approach to photography is his way of showing us the beauty and
unique perspective of our surroundings, allowing us all to be able to
'stop and smell the roses'. His influence stems from growing up in a wilderness
environment of such places as The Rocky Mountains in Alberta and Montana,
and has stirred his passion for photography from an early age. His location
and vantage points are often spontaneous, but mostly sought out and
frequented to achieve the finest in lighting and composition. Having progressed
to the wonder of digital technology, Darren uses Canon equipment in
combination with Tokina and Sigma lenses. Now residing in Shushwap Lake,
British Columbia, he is constantly creating new visions of the surrounding area
for all of us to take in the splendour of it all.
